    • SAKURA is the EX-drummer of L'ARC~EN~CIEL. I love him too much that I still can't believe he no longer in the band...T_T... SAKURA.... In 1997 March he was caught by police of heroin possession. He wanted to leave the band but other members won't let him. He was trial in May and was guilty of the charges. He's now under probation (this is the part everyone seems to mistaken--He was/is NOT in jail!!). He cut his hair during the trial..... At early November, their management company annouced that SAKURA officially depart from the band. Now the replacement drummer is YUKIHIRO, who was annouced as official member on 1/1/98.

    Now we're in the fond memory of the good old days when SAKURA was in the band. He's the "costume-man" of the band. He wore "bambi" costumes before, and often played the role of a "panda" (in panda costumes). SAKURA is a funny mysterious guy who always talks non-sense. He and HYDE seems like a good couple, always made fun of each other (also cute magic show! HYDE also said before "if I'm a girl, I'd fall in love with SAKURA". HYDE also said "someone like SAKURA would be his favorite type..." (only SAKURA is a girl ^_-;;). Oh well.....^^;;

    SAKURA always wears black, and looks the most "man" in the band. He paints flower patterns on his face and body during live. Before he joined Laruku, he's the drummer of "HAREM Q" (91) and "DI+KUSSE" (92). He joined L'ARC~EN~CIEL at 1.16.93. At that time, it is said that TETSU "love call" (like a bugging bee) SAKURA to join. They would never imagine that one day SAKURA almost ruin the future of the band....T_T Also, surprisingly, SAKURA is very friend with MANA from MALICE MIZER . (what?? they looked too "different" to be friends...^^;;) Even in MALICE MIZER 's 2nd album "Voyage", you can see SAKURA on the "Thanks" list.
